The flexibility at the same time gives the cow a possibility to reach longer out on the feeding table too, which means that the cow will eat for a longer time without getting any damages or injuries from the barn equipment.
The feed barriers are made up by plastic tubes to divide the feeding places. The plastic pipes are mounted on a long rectangular scrap of iron, which is tiltable because of a suspension in each end. When the cow presses its shoulders at the plastic pipes, the whole construction will move forward, which means that the cow will avoid any marks and injuries on the shoulders and neck.

FACTS ABOUT COW-WELFARE FLEX FEED™:
The system gives freedom back to the cow as if it was out on the field. The cow consumes more food at the feeding table when it is feeling the same freedom as in the field. Note, how high the cow lifts its head to let the feed slide down the throat and further down into the stomach. The cow is able to reach further out on feeding table for consuming the food because the head locks are following.
